About Me
- Marlayna Burns
- Im a 3rd year student at UCSC. Im currently studying bioinformatics which is an interdisciplinary major including biology, computer science, and math. Its really an amazing subject. Right now I work in the admissions office as a Lead SLUG (Student Life and University Guide). Its really fun to give tours of the campus. Ask me anything about UCSC and I probably know the answer. I also have the CUIP (Chancellor's Undergraduate Internship Program) Internship as the Education Coordinator at SHOP (Student Health Outreach and Promotion). Its a great internship that really focuses on safer sex and alcohol and drug awareness for college students. This doesn't leave me too much free time but when I get the chance, Im either hanging out on my computer or exploring the outdoors!!
